Multisensory Monday: Syllable Sort OCE

Happy Cyber Monday everyone! For some great deals on OG supplies, head over to the RLAC site and see Sarah’s post about a Walking Word Wall, and her coupon for the RLAC store which is having a sale today!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving week. Today, I have a simple sorting activity to help your students recognize the difference between closed, open, and silent-e syllables.

To do the Basic activity, download the sorting mat and the word list. This word list includes basic one-syllable CV/CVC/CVCE real words. Print out the word list and cut (or have your student cut out) the words. Then glue them under the correct syllable type on the mat! Or, you could laminate both for re-use without gluing.

If you would like nonsense words and words with consonant blends/digraphs, you can purchase the full activity here on my TPT store.
